Tyler and Cole met on a job site and quickly realized they shared more than just a strong work ethic — they shared a vision. After months of working side by side and solving every challenge that came their way, the two discovered a natural partnership. Their combined skills, problem-solving mindset, and mutual respect laid the foundation for something bigger. That’s how Pipe Dream Electric was born — built on trust, teamwork, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.

Tyler was born in Orrick, Missouri and raised in nearby Lathrop. He’s been in the electrical trade since 2012, gaining valuable experience across both union and non-union companies. Tyler has a passion for service-style electrical work, where his problem-solving skills shine. His drive to co-found Pipe Dream Electric came from recognizing the strong need for high-character, transparent contractors in the industry. With that vision, he hopes Pipe Dream Electric becomes known throughout Kansas City as one of the most honest, hardworking, and technically skilled electrical contractors in the area. When he's not on the job, Tyler enjoys quality time with his family and hitting the golf course. He lives by the quote: "It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it."
Cole, a Shawnee, Kansas, native, always knew he wanted to work in a trade. After his dad encouraged him to explore the electrical field, he quickly found his passion. With over five years of hands-on experience and four years of formal training at Peaslee Tech, he brings solid expertise in commercial electrical work to Pipe Dream Electric. As co-founder, Cole manages daily job site operations—overseeing crews, coordinating with contractors and ensuring each project is completed safely and up to code. Known for his reliability and high standards, he takes pride in every project: “I feel a sense of pride after completing every job, knowing it’s safe, reliable, and built to serve the client.” Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, working out and living by the motto, “How you do one thing is how you do everything.”
